Can I start using Votel before my 10DLC (SMS) registration is approved?

Yes. You do not need to start or finish your 10DLC application to start using Votel. Set up everything else first, such as your website, email, pricing and domain. 10DLC does not have to be something you launch with on day one; add it as you go. If approval takes a week, texting simply starts a week later.

Meanwhile you can make and receive phone calls, including with the built-in web phone, because calls need no carrier approval, and a voice AI agent works as soon as it has a phone number.

Have your website live with a privacy policy and an opt-in before you submit the registration, because the carriers review it.
